In the cosy city of franeker at one of its prettiest locations, you will find hotel restaurant "de stadsherberg" situated at the waterside. The building (dating from around 1800) offers the possibility to relax and unwind and enjoy the idyllic view of the water. eatery the eatery is legendary for its superb kitchen and has 70 seats. The eatery comprises two conservatories with view of the water; a choice spot for entertaining small groups of guests. The eatery is also perfectly pertinent for receptions. Our eatery is much favoured among business people. We offer you the accommodation to join business and pleasure in a culinary way. Hotel in the building that dates from around 1800, recently seven new rooms were realised, all equipped with trendy consoles like shower/toilet, tv and telephone. The guests can also enjoy the view of the roof terrace, specially created for the hotelguests. For a sentimental night try our bridal suite, which -apart from all the consoles of the other rooms- is equipped with a bath.
