The legendary rijksmuseum and the spiegelgracht, the internationally well-known street for antique and art shops, also lie almost opposite the hotel.Built in 1999, the 4 storey hotel has a total of 18 rooms, of which 12 are doubles and 6 are singles. The art gallery hotel is a petite, cosy hotel, opposite of the rijksmuseum, and near the museumplein and the leidseplein. The hotel is located in a picturesque building, and has a wonderful view on the rijksmuseum. The art gallery hotel is re-furbished in 1999. The centremost position of the hotel is quiet though.
